Overlooking the Kielder Burn and the North Tyne River before it enters Kielder Water, the Grade 2 listed castle was once a former hunting lodge of the Duke of Northumberland.
Please be aware that the castle building is closed for renovation until 2027, which also means that the cafe is closed - refreshments are available at Kielder Bike Hire.
