The Straker offers contemporary Swedish style accommodation; finished to the highest standard and with many of those little extras that make your holiday complete. With panoramic views across the surrounding countryside and in a perfect location to study the dark skies of Northumberland, this luxury self-catering chalet is a welcome addition to our existing range of accessible holiday accommodation.
The Sky Den Tree House
The Sky Den Treehouse, created for us by architect and TV presenter George Clarke, is composed of three different shapes that each blend together the best of outdoors and indoors, taking in everything from the red squirrels in the trees around you, to the sweeping river just below.

What you said:
"We found the accommodation to be excellent, very well equipped, a home from home. We found all the staff had a very positive attitude especially when the children were doing their activities. Thank you to everyone." Greenwood family.
"I came and attended a swing and climb day at Calvert Kielder recently and I would like to say I really enjoyed it and the 2 members of staff instructing it were really friendly and encouraging and helped me conquer my fear of abseiling and boost my confidence with climbing and also encouraged me for my first time on the king swing. I would like to thank them so much as I really enjoyed my experience." Activity drop in day visitor.
