If you’re missing the North East Dark Skies Festival, and you’re up for an 11 mile night run, you can join Trail Outlaws at Kielder Waterside on March 7.
If sedate stargazing is more your thing there are lots of events in our regional observatories. Kielder Observatory, Battlesteads Observatory, Stonehaugh Astronomy and Twice Brewed Inn all have events throughout March where you can learn about astronomy and enjoy looking at our awesome dark skies.
There's plenty of walking and cycling and a reminder that you can hire bikes and electric bikes at Kielder Bike Hire for a ride on any of our trails.
The new Room on the Broom interactive family trail is great for all ages and has lots of activities, fascinating forest facts and plenty of hands-on fun.
Kielder Waterside has plenty of activities to keep you busy, including the new GLO ZONE games room and our feathered friends at Kielder Bird of Prey Centre are always pleased to greet you with a happy hoot!
