We're in prime dark skies time and half term week sees the North East Dark Skies Festival.
Kielder and the wider Northumberland National Park is hosting lots of events, so check out the website and join in - and even if you don't go to something organised, don't forget to look up!
Kielder Observatory has a full festival programme. It's very busy during that week, but there are tickets for the rest of February and you can also go to stargazing events at Battlesteads Observatory and Twice Brewed Inn.
Our new Room on the Broom trail has just opened where you can join Witch and her friends on an enchanting adventure in the forest. This is an interactive family trail packed with Room on the Broom themed activities, fascinating forest facts and plenty of hands-on fun.
Kielder Waterside has lots of activities including the brand new GLO ZONE games room and there's always delicious things to eat and drink at their Forest Bar & Kitchen, including Sir Woofchester's dog menu!
