We kick off the month with the Altra Kielder Marathon here on Sunday, October 4th. Britain’s most beautiful marathon provides a full weekend of running and cycling for all ages.

The Kielder Observatory team are waiting to see you, even more now that we’re heading into full on dark skies. Remember to book tickets in advance as they are popular!
Kielder Birds of Prey Centre is open daily with flying sessions at 1.30 and 3pm - no need to book.
Tower Knowe Visitor Centre is open daily where you can learn more about Kielder’s story with a new digital experience and when you know everything Kielder, you can pop next door to the cafe for a drink and a snack - with a view.
