Bring your bike or hire one at Kielder Bike Hire, come for a walk or if you need to escape the weather book an inside activity at Kielder Waterside or Calvert Kielder.
If you’re a fan of a bird of prey, come and visit our Bird of Prey Centre or the Osprey Cabin at Tower Knowe to learn more about our resident ospreys from our amazing Northumberland Wildlife Trust volunteers on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. We have 8 nests with eggs this year, which is a record - so far there are 5 chicks and more to come . . .
June‘s big event at Kielder is The Northumbrian on the weekend of the 27/28th. A full and half iron-distance triathlon and ultra trail runs in and around our spectacular scenery - surely the most beautiful course!
We also have the the Northstar Ultra on June 13th. Entries are open until the 9th of June, so still time to test yourself with this ultra challenge across 200 miles. Five sections over sections over 36 hours. Go solo, pair or quad!
It might’ve been a bit of a damp start to the month, but there are sure to be plenty of glorious sunny June days ahead.
