With subtle adaptations to almost every aspect of the site and its services, it’s a rare example of a truly inclusive space and one we’re extremely proud to have here in Kielder. This means it’s equally open and available for everyone, whatever your ability or disability. And for Accessible Outdoors Month, it’s the perfect time to try out one of their adventurous outdoor activities.

The Kielder ZipCoaster
Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Saturdays
Half zip-wire, half rollercoaster. This 260m high-adrenaline track takes you through the trees of Kielder Forest. Europe’s first to be fully wheelchair accessible.
High ropes
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
Climb 10m into the sky for this 9-element obstacle course. Just don’t look down!
Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting
Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Saturdays
Join us on the range for a modern take on traditional clay pigeon shooting. 30 laser 'shots' at high-speed targets.
