We are delighted to spot the first osprey of the year - she's one of our returners who has spent her summers here since 2020.
So far, she’s flying solo but next week is usually the prime return week so she should have some friends joining her then. We’ll keep you in touch here and on our socials and soon we'll be setting up the live webcam.
Northumberland Wildlife Trust is running the Osprey Cabin at Tower Knowe Visitor Centre from April 4th (Easter Saturday) on Wednesdays, Saturday and Sundays 11 am – 4 pm. Come and talk to their amazing volunteers who will tell you more about these beautiful birds.
