Great news - all 6 chicks have now fledged successfully!
Some of them mused more than others before taking flight - a bit of jumping up and down, a fortifying snack or a relaxing snooze!
But once up, to our joy and relief, they all returned safely to their nests.
Now we hope they keep getting stronger, keep flying and stay out of danger, so that they can make the journey south, likely to West Africa in September.
If you’d like to support the ospreys and their journey, you can donate through a new Crowdfunder appeal.
Forestry England and British Airways have joined forces, with the airline pledging to match individual contributions through its BA Better World Community Fund. Click here to donate to the appeal.
