A new Kielder-themed edition of Top Trumps is highlighting the wildlife and beauty of our area.
The collectible card game features landmarks, wildlife, and architecture all around Kielder.
The historic Kielder Viaduct and the much-loved ospreys are among those featured.
Each card includes short facts and scores for players to compare, offering families an entertaining way to discover one of the UK’s most spectacular landscapes.
Becky Laidler, Guest Services Assistant at Northumbrian Water who originally came up with the idea, said: "Kielder is full of so many beautiful locations and wildlife that people really connect with, and I loved the idea of turning that into something that families could enjoy together after a day exploring the area.
"It’s a great way to learn about the wildlife that exists here and the art installations, as well as some of Kielder’s history, while having a bit of competitive fun at the same time."
Since then, the company has worked with its partners and local organisations, including Top Trumps themselves, to showcase the very best of Kielder in one deck.
Visitors staying at Kielder Waterside lodges can pre-order the game online and have it waiting in their accommodation upon arrival.
The game is also available from visitor centres across Kielder.
