Borders Glamping Reivers Retreat Glamping Cabin in the picturesque Scottish Borders offers you the camping experience with a lot more comfort. This is an exclusive cabin on a sheep farm with outstanding views. We are not a glamping site so you can be assured of no noisy neighbours in a pod next door, just peace and tranquillity. The cabin is the ideal place to stay for walking, cycling, star gazing or simply relaxing. Only 17 miles from Kielder Water and Forest Park. Nearby, is the Newcastleton 7stanes Mountain Bike Trail and Rock UK activity centre which offers abseiling, archery, high ropes, canoeing, kayaking and cycle hire plus an indoor swimming pool. Also guests at Borders Glamping are entitled to a 10% discount off Border Trike Tours.

THE CABIN
The main room features a leather sofa, table and 2 chairs,  woodburning stove, flat screen TV, small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and wine glasses, spare socket for charging a phone etc., FREE WiFi*

A small door at the back of the cabin leads you into a cosy room with a full size double bed with a quality mattress, bed linen and a flat screen TV. The glass panels in the roof enable you to lie and admire the fantastic starry skies and then a blackout blind pulls down to ensure that your sleep is not interrupted by the light at dawn.

OUTSIDE THE CABIN
There is a decking area with table and chairs and a gravelled area with chairs around a fire-pit. Also a table, washing up bowl and a covered area for a disposable BBQ.

Included in your holiday cost and situated approximately 100m from the cabin.

DARK SKIES

One of the darkest places in the UK, as mapped by Dark Sky Discovery, the cabin has its own glass panels above the bed to view the stars and being near Kielder makes it an ideal location for those visiting Kielder Observatory.

*Please note the speed of Wifi is not brilliant in this area so please do not expect to be able to download movies (emailing and checking social media should be OK).

PETS
One well behaved dog can be accommodated but strictly not allowed on the bed or sofa.
