Dark Skies and Creatures of the Night

Explore wildlife in the dark with a night-time woodland walk, moth trapping and a demonstration of thermal imaging kit. Find out what you can see in the Redesdale night sky in our stargazing workshop (all equipment and instruction provided). Learn how lighting can affect wildlife and what you can do to reduce your impact. The following morning we will discover what wildlife our traps and cameras have recorded overnight. Please bring a torch (with a red-light setting if possible), suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Booking is essential. This event is suitable for ages 11+.
