Type: Adventure Park / Playground

Play Garden is an unusual playscape featuring a walled garden for smaller children, with forest follies in the wilder area for the older participants. The form of the Cottage, Barn and Castle suggests past lives of this agricultural and military landscape while a route through the play area is marked by a line of steel poles connecting the suite to the flat expanse of Kielder Water in the background.

Road Directions

From Newcastle or Carlisle, follow the A69 to Hexham then follow the B6320 to Bellingham (brown-signed Kielder Water & Forest) and take the C200 to Kielder Water & Forest Park.
