Other adventure activities and events

Whether your passion is fishing, wildlife, mountain biking, walking, star gazing, rallying, working forests or culture and arts, we host a multitude of events throughout the Park all year round. From small family focussed events such as mini-beast hunts to deer safaris and large scale events such as Winter Wonderland, there’s something for everyone.

Or maybe fell running or orienteering is your adventure sport of choice? Kielder Water & Forest Park offers the opportunity to participate in either of these at your own pace all year round or at specially organised events such as the Kielder Marathon or British Orienteering days. If you want to try your hand at orienteering there is a course starting at Kielder Castle Visitor Centre - call 01434 250 209 to find out more.
