Kielder Water & Forest Park

Come and experience the fun and excitement of mountain biking in Kielder Water & Forest Park. Loads of thrills and spills for all the family. Taster sessions running all day including 1 hour guided rides with Purple Mountain guide (adults £5, kids £4, own bike £2); Repair Rumble - learn to mend a puncture and stay on the trail (free); MTB Orienteering Taster (£5/hr); Kids Castle Wood Skills Loop Competition (entry £4); ride display and tips on buying the right bike and kit to get you going (free). Booking advisable to avoid disappointment.

Road Directions

From Newcastle or Carlisle, follow the A69 to Hexham then follow the B6320 to Bellingham (brown-signed Kielder Water & Forest) and take the C200 to Kielder Water & Forest Park.

From Jedburgh/Edinburgh take the A68 south to Otterburn, then the B6320 to Bellingham and follow the brown signs to Kielder Water & Forest Park along the C200.

Kielder Castle is situated within Kielder Village and sign-posted from the C200.

Please remember to fill up your tank before you begin your journey as there are no petrol stations in the immediate Kielder Water & Forest Park area.
