MTB Foundation Skills Weekend

The Full Monty for mountain bikers. Full weekend course to aquire all the skills to venture off road and be a proper mountain biker. Learn trailside repairs and some basic map reading, navigation and GPS skills. Accommodation available. Bike hire available at extra cost.

Road Directions

From Newcastle or Carlisle, follow the A69 to Hexham then follow the B6320 to Bellingham (brown-signed Kielder Water & Forest) and take the C200 to Kielder Water & Forest Park.

From Jedburgh/Edinburgh take the A68 south to Otterburn, then the B6320 to Bellingham and follow the brown signs to Kielder Water & Forest Park along the C200.

Kielder Castle is situated within Kielder Village and sign-posted from the C200.

Please remember to fill up your tank before you begin your journey as there are no petrol stations in the immediate Kielder Water & Forest Park area.
