The 2010 Footfest will be held in two of the most stunning backdrops in Northumberland; Kielder Water & Forest Park and Northumberland National Park. It is a chance for locals and visitors to explore the beauty and varied landscapes that Kielder Water & Forest Park and Northumberland National Park offer through a programme of special walks and activities using your feet! Join our experienced local guides to enjoy exploring the different areas through activities such as walking, mountain biking, orienteering, nordic walking and geo-caching, and experience the art, wildlife and natural beauty of your great outdoors. Road Directions

From Newcastle or Carlisle, follow the A69 to Hexham then follow the B6320 to Bellingham (brown-signed Kielder Water & Forest) and take the C200 to Kielder Water & Forest Park.

From Jedburgh/Edinburgh take the A68 south to Otterburn, then the B6320 to Bellingham and follow the brown signs to Kielder Water & Forest Park along the C200.

Please remember to fill up your tank before you begin your journey as there are no petrol stations in the immediate Kielder Water & Forest Park area.
