What better way to end the summer holidays than taking part in the first Footfest event. A festival to celebrate all the wonderful things you can do on your feet at Kielder and Northumberland National Park! Keep the whole family entertained with a week full of taster sessions, family events and adventure activities for all such as bush tucker trail, action heroes, king of the jungle, tyre treasure hunt, monster machines, a walk through time and much much more.
This summer is your chance to put your best foot forward and explore two of the most stunning backdrops in Northumberland: Kielder Water & Forest Park and Northumberland National Park. We've teamed up to provide a week packed full of special walks and activities, all led by highly experienced local guides, so you can get active while experiencing the art, wildlife and natural beauty of your great outdoors.

Road Directions
From Newcastle or Carlisle, follow the A69 to Hexham then follow the B6320 to Bellingham (brown-signed Kielder Water & Forest) and take the C200 to Kielder Water & Forest Park.
From Jedburgh/Edinburgh take the A68 south to Otterburn, then the B6320 to Bellingham and follow the brown signs to Kielder Water & Forest Park along the C200.
Please remember to fill up your tank before you begin your journey as there are no petrol stations in the immediate Kielder Water & Forest Park area.
