In this supportive environment you can gain confidence and skills needed to advance your riding. You’ll learn some core skills, learn to negotiate small trail obstacles, correct positioning will improve control and confidence and there’s also a personal bike set up session. The course also includes an introduction to cornering and climbing. No off road experience necessary. One to one feedback with Purple Mountain instructor, morning coffee, packed lunch and 10% off voucher for future courses included. Bike hire available at extra cost.
From Newcastle or Carlisle, follow the A69 to Hexham then follow the B6320 to Bellingham (brown-signed Kielder Water & Forest) and take the C200 to Kielder Water & Forest Park.
From Jedburgh/Edinburgh take the A68 south to Otterburn, then the B6320 to Bellingham and follow the brown signs to Kielder Water & Forest Park along the C200.
Kielder Castle is situated within Kielder Village and sign-posted from the C200.
Please remember to fill up your tank before you begin your journey as there are no petrol stations in the immediate Kielder Water & Forest Park area.
