A challenging day out for the 4x4 driver. For drivers of standard or lightly modified road legal 4x4 vehicles with route choices to suit all. This is a full day of ranger led trails that take in some of the rougher routes the forest has to offer. Proceeds go to Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team.
Road Directions
From Newcastle or Carlisle, follow the A69 to Hexham then follow the B6320 to Bellingham (brown-signed Kielder Water & Forest) and take the C200 to Kielder Water & Forest Park.
From Jedburgh/Edinburgh take the A68 south to Otterburn, then the B6320 to Bellingham and follow the brown signs to Kielder Water & Forest Park along the C200.
Kielder Castle is situated within Kielder Village and sign-posted from the C200.
Please remember to fill up your tank before you begin your journey as there are no petrol stations in the immediate Kielder Water & Forest Park area.
