Twenty Seven is our family home. We currently offer one en-suite family room, comprising double bed and a single bed. It can also be used as single, double or twin accommodation.
We have a comfortable dining room/lounge with TV and DVD for you to chill out in after a busy day in the outdoors.
We offer full cooked English Breakfast and vegetarian and special dietary needs can be catered for.
Evening meals and packed lunches can be arrange if plenty of notice is given.
We are a small, friendly family-run business aiming to please our visitors, nothing is too much trouble, if we can do it, we will.
We especially welcome cyclists, mountain bikers, walkers and astronomers.
Well behaved dogs are also welcome, without charge.
We also have a Self Catering cottage which sleeps six people just 10 minutes walk from the B&B. This is new for 2010 - more information on our website: www.staykielder.co.uk.
Our local pub "The Anglers Arms" is only 5 minutes walk away from the B & B, offering good pub grub and real ales. Dogs are now welcome in the bar.
The Reivers Cycle route runs nearby and we can provide a well earned overnight stay for you, secure cycle storage and washing/drying facilities mean you can rest and replenish yourselves for the next stage of your trip.
Walking and Cycle routes pass through Kielder village so you can access the new Lakeside Way and the Deadwater and Lonesome Pine singletrack routes straight from the B & B.
Kielder is an ideal arena for outdoor pursuits and hobbies whether following up on your sport or pastime, or trying something new, we can guide you in the best direction. If we dont know, we usually know someone who does. Just a few of these activities include: walking, navigating and running; cycling and mountain biking; mountaineering and climbing; water sports; hunting/shooting, fishing and golf.
Places of local interest include: Kielder Birds of Prey Centre, Kielder Salmon Hatchery tours, Kielder Castle Forestry Visitor centre, Tower Knowe NWL Visitor Centre, art and architecture in Kielder.

New for 2010 -
Lakeside Way is now well established with some new BIG ART e.g. Janus Chairs - that's 26 miles of easy going trail for walkers, cyclists, horse riders, pushchair and wheelchair users. - Lots of great new vistas.
Two Marathons are lined up for this year along with the second annual Kielder 100 mtb race.
The new Blue route from Castle Hill to Plashetts is now open.

Within easy travelling distance of 'Twenty Seven' there lies a plethora of tourist destinations to complement your stay: Alnwick Gardens and Castle (1 hour 30 mins); Hadrian's Wall forts and path (45 minutes); Northumberland coast and castles (within 2 hours travel); Scottish border towns (30 minutes + ).
From east head for Newcastle on the A1, then A69 just past Hexham. Turn right signed Acomb and Chollerford A6079. Follow road through Acomb, Wall and Chollerford then pick up signs for Kielder . Once at Kielder Water and you can see the dam, follow the C200 for about 8 miles to Kielder village - Station garage is clearly seen on the left. Take the next right turn into Castle Drive. 'Twenty seven' is near the end of the street on the right, opposite the Village Store.
