Scandinavian-style log cabins, situated in peaceful surroundings. An excellent centre for touring Scottish Borders and Hadrian's Roman Wall Country.
Kielder Water has 27 miles of shoreline. Around the lake there are many walks/cycle trails and lots of art and architecture nested in the forest. A birds of prey centre, licensed restaurant and bar, indoor swimming pool, conference centre and a ferry boat are a few attractions to mention.
Road Directions
From M6-From Carlisle and M6 take A69 to Newcastle for about 35 miles. Turn North onto B6320 towards Bellingham. Follow brown tourist signs to Kielder from Newcastle and A1.
Public Transport Directions
From Hexham - 30 miles.
From Newcastle - 50 miles.
