AbbotShire ‘Hobbit House’ sleeps up to 5 (4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children).

Enjoy a magical experience in the quiet of the world, where there is less noise and more green. A quirky 2-bedroomed glamping cabin with bathroom, kitchen and garden. A must for Lord of the Rings fans. Enjoy a peaceful secluded location with stunning views. (We are not a glamping site so you will have no noisy neighbours, just tranquillity). AbbotShire at Borders Glamping offers an off-grid feeling with some on-grid home comforts including:2 bedrooms (one with handmade rustic king size bed, one with 2 singles and an extra fold-down mezzanine bed for a third child), bathroom with shower cubicle, stone sink and WC, fully fitted kitchen with 2 ring hob, sink, fridge/freezer, microwave/conventional oven, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, dining area with solid wood rustic dining table, living area with Chesterfield sofa and chairs, woodburning stove, TV/DVD player in lounge and master bedroom, box set of Lord of the Rings DVDs and various games. FREE WIFI.

Outside there is a large garden with seating area, fire pit, BBQ and pizza oven.

It is an ideal place to stay for a walking, cycling, star gazing or simply relaxing. Only 17 miles from Kielder Water and Forest Park and Kielder Observatory. Nearby, is the Newcastleton 7stanes Mountain Bike Trail and Rock UK activity centre which offers abseiling, archery, high ropes, canoeing, kayaking and cycle hire plus an indoor swimming pool.

HORSE RIDING – STABLING AVAILABLE
What better place to bring your horse for a riding holiday than to the farm that was home to the legendary Lenamore for over 10 years. We have stabling for your horse with 363 acres of private land and miles and miles of forest tracks to ride around whilst enjoying  the spectacular views of the Scottish Borders. A near Olympic size all-weather arena is also available for guests to use.

DARK SKIES
One of the darkest places in the UK, as mapped by Dark Sky Discovery, making it ideal for star gazing.

One well behaved dog can be accommodated but strictly not allowed on the beds or sofa.
