Summer Activity Days - July/August 2010
As part of our series of summer activity days, come and have a go at the following through the months of July and August:
Calvert Trust Kielder are offering canoeing each Monday (except Monday 26 July) 10am-4pm, Climb Night on a Thursday 5.30pm-7.30pm and King Swing and indoor climbing on Fridays (except Friday 30 July) 10am-4pm. £5pp, booking not required, call 01434 250 232 for information.
Alternatively experience fly-fishing and a behind the scenes tour of the Kielder Salmon Centre on Wednesday 4 August, 10am-3pm. Free event, call 01434 250 269 for information.
Road Directions
From Newcastle or Carlisle, follow the A69 to Hexham then follow the B6320 to Bellingham (brown-signed Kielder Water & Forest) and take the C200 to Kielder Water & Forest Park.
From Jedburgh/Edinburgh take the A68 south to Otterburn, then the B6320 to Bellingham and follow the brown signs to Kielder Water & Forest Park along the C200.
Please remember to fill up your tank before you begin your journey as there are no petrol stations in the immediate Kielder Water & Forest Park area.
