Knoppingsholme Farmhouse is easily accessible; it's situated on the quiet route from Bellingham to Kielder, and lies within the heart of the beautiful North Tyne Valley. Pony trekking, windsurfing, sailing and ferry trips are only a small selection of the many outdoor activities that can be arranged at Kielder Water - Northern Europe's largest man made lake- which is cradled by Kielder Forest Park, a paradise for ramblers and cyclists who will enjoy the various challenging routes close by.

Newcastle - 45 minutes
Carlisle - 45 minutes
Edinburgh - approximately 2 hours

Newcastle (approx 40 miles)
Head East from Newcastle on the A69 Towards Hexham and Carlisle, just after Hexham turn onto the A6079 towards Bellingham and Kielder Water. After Wall/Chollerford turn left onto the B6320 towards Bellingham and Kielder Water. Continue until you reach Bellingham and turn left, heading for Kielder Water. Knoppingsholme is located 4 miles from Bellingham after the tiny hamlet of Lanehead.

Carlisle (approx 55 miles)
From Carlisle head west on the A69 for Hexham. Just before reaching Hexham turn left onto the A6079 for Bellingham/Kielder Water. Remaining journey is above.
