These two delightful cottages were converted from an old stone byre and are situated next to the farmhouse in a quiet and peaceful location on the banks of the North Tyne one mile from the centre of Bellingham village at the end of a single tarmac track. The location is ideal for exploring the Northumberland National Park, Kielder Water and Hadrian’s Wall and visiting the market towns of Hexham, Rothbury with its stately home of Cragside and Alnwick with its famous gardens and castle. Bellingham has most amenities with a Co-op, pharmacy, baker, butcher, papershop, post office, outdoor shop and country store and even an 18 hole golf course. There are many good restaurants in the area but if all you want to do is totally chill out, then bring a good book and a bottle of wine and relax by the river.
